“I would like to create a kind of traditional dance that doesn’t exist, one without a culture, an origin, or a territory. A ritual without a past, taking place in the present but bearing a symbolism that doesn’t evoke any known references and seeking an expressiveness and a poetics that demand to emerge from the earth and take hold of the body.

Allowing for the unbridled manifestion of impersonal stories rooted in a ceremony that is imagined, invented, and free. Inviting you on a journey as it unfolds from a metaphorical story into a letting go.

A deterritorialized work that would depict something on the inside being put on the outside. And a play on the mechanics of darkness, both through the costumes and the light, in order to transform the perception of the person who witnesses it.”
